In the Canadian list there are a few non labs and doubles
-DèmosLab is no longer active
-District3 has 2 entries…
-Siat SFU never replied to my greeting/questions and It looks more like a biology lab than a fab lab.
Thanks

Yes, the inbox was pretty full but now since mid-October 2016 there’s a new team behind Fablabs.io (including me), you will receive an update very soon!
Regarding your questions, thanks for the feedback!
Furthemore, some countries have already started a specific thread regarding this for their countries, like New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil…
Could you please start a specific one for Canada? This thread is a mix of this and other requests. In this way, we could have a discussion with all labs and makers in Canada (which is needed as much as new features).
good to know someone is taking care of fablabs.io!
the “behind the scene” (in french = “coulisse”) page was where I recieved notifications about labs waiting for approval… but maybe it’s tied to the fablab where I worked back then…
and I’ll edit everything here so it fit the “Non-Fab Lab X” structure
Thanks
Yes, I suppose that the Backstage (in English) is related to the lab and that you were working in a Supernode back then…
not too sure how that “supernode” is different from my actual lab but yes, I guess that’s it.
It could be interesting if it would follow the user as long as he is listed as working somewhere… I still know what a Fab Lab is. Probably even more than some people in supernodes… but well, these are the rules of the game I guess haha
I will second the not-a-fablab statement about Siat SFU.
Is there a way to send it into review for removal?
Contact does not exist, and when I physically walked there and tried to get a contact, the school flat out say the fablab doesn’t exist.
They also got listed as a supernode some how, which is really confusing.
That’s a bug unfortunately, we are working on it.
Any news about the bug now?
Or is it possible to change it into normal fablab manually?
