The lab equipment is shopbot cnc, laser cutter, vinyl cutter, Roland SRM-20, brodery machine, 3D printer and large paper plotter.
The lab is under the school administration, with one manager.
The laboratory is located in two school rooms and two smaller room (total 88 squar-meters), with access to all the facilities of the school.
The setup of the laboratory has been under the supervision of already existing fablabs on Iceland.
The laboratory has been open to this school students since the first machines arrived in august. We plan in a few days, to have open to all people.
I myself participate in the fab academy as a student at Fablab in Isafjordur in Island.
Of everything goes according to plan, this will be the first laboratory in the Faroe Islands.
