This is a (soon to be) open source variation on the well known Rigid Heddle loom. I started that project with the following criterias:
1- Ergonomics : I must be able to weave a 16 inch loom on my couch
2- Parts : as few parts and hardware as possible
3- Sturdy : Must be sturdy enough to resist use in a lab
4 -Parametric : Can be changed from 12 to 24 inches
