Planned and designed to become part of the growing contortion of world wide Fab Labs, Pocosin Arts’ “Smith Lab” builds on a 25 year history of arts education that began by supporting indigenous folk crafts, then assimilated a contemporary crafts theme and is now expanding its educational goals to integrate the visual arts and STEM through creation of a studio dedicated to that purpose.
