Hello Fab Lab Community,
My name is Nguyen Bich Ngoc, and I am a Computer Science teacher, STEM Club Coordinator, and Lab Manager at Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted in Vietnam.
I would like to introduce our lab, THPT_Chuyen Ha Tinh, a STEM education and digital fabrication space supported through the Petrovietnam STEM Innovation program.
Our lab provides facilities and equipment for 3D printing, CNC machining, robotics with VEX IQ and VEX V5 systems, programming, AI and IoT, as well as experimental activities in biology, chemistry, energy, environmental science, and scientific research.
Our main goal is to create an environment where students and teachers can learn through hands-on projects, interdisciplinary STEM activities, robotics, digital fabrication, scientific research, and innovation.
We recently submitted our lab application to join the global Fab Lab network. As a teacher coordinating STEM activities, I hope to connect with Fab Labs around the world to learn from their experience in Fab Lab management, STEM teaching, digital fabrication, teacher professional development, and student projects.
We would greatly appreciate guidance, educational resources, project ideas, opportunities for teacher and student exchanges, and possibilities for collaborative projects with other Fab Labs.
We are also interested in learning how experienced Fab Labs provide community access, participate in the global network, develop staff capacity, and implement the principles of the Fab Charter in their daily activities.
