i love the map and the list, it is a great resource. i see a CSV file is coming which is great news for research people like me.
Im just reaching out to see if anyone has done the valiant task of counting how many labs there are per region (eg Europe, USA, Asia, Latam)? And if, so are they able to share the data.

Years ago I worked on an IPython Notebook for this, you can find it here but it is probably not really updated: https://github.com/openp2pdesign/FabLab-Mapping--Python
The good news is that I’m working on porting this Notebook to an interactive online version on Fablabs.io (and it will be open source), I’ll keep you updated

thanks for your reply - i think counted up correctly and got—> Africa: 47, S.america 84, North America 175, China 42, India 16, Asiapac 78, Menasa 25, europe 572, Russia 31, Central Am. 3
