I’m Graduate for Mechanical Engineering, Through facing every day problem to find a right dimension socket for a plug, finding one does not guarantee tight fixture. To solve this i Came up with an idea to develop a universal socket which can attach any size electrical plug.
About Mechanism : 4*4 box consist of many small cylindrical conducting rod (Tip being Insulated) When we insert the 2 or 3 point plug , male part of plug pushes the cylindrical rod inside which completes a circuit.
Advantages over tradition Socket:
- Connection being rigid and easy to dislodge when powered off.
- Shock free, As Tip being Insulated its safe to place hand in socket.
- Water proof, As no holes are there in unused position.
And most important one , its can be used for any electrical plug which makes it universally accepted .
